The number of food safety recalls undertaken in Australia continues to trend upwards. The course includes insights from Quality Associates team of experienced consultants, including an ex-state level food recall officer, experienced food industry managers, and team members who continue to work with a major food retailer to manage their food recalls as they occur.
Learn how an appropriate recall program can be established in a food business (including effective mock recalls), and how the recall process works across local, state, and national government, as well as through the national food retail supply chain.

- Identify weaknesses in traceability, allergen management, and food labelling that can lead to recalls
- Learn how a food business needs to prepare, document, and activate a food recall plan in line with FSANZ expectations
- Understand how an effective mock recall program can assist food businesses to prepare should a recall be required
